If you can do this art with a mouse I really wonder what will happen, when you get a graphic tablet.
(got the cheapest wacom myself and i am very happy with it.)

Did it take a long time to get use to working with a pad? I´m just afraid of feeling like a true amateur. So much to learn with creating brushes and all :)

Adopting the tablet was the fastest for me. (I still struggle with drawing, coloring, photoshop and everything else ;-) )
Creating brushes can be fun - but there are really good tutorials and/or brush-sets out there (e.g. the ones form Adonihs [link]) and for the beginning just painting with the tablet and standard brushes is really enough.

Until now the 60€ for the pad was one of the best investments in my past 5 years.
